Mini High Tea for the Mini Farm Loganlea

Did you know that there are over 47,000 people in the Logan Region who require daily food assistance?

The Mini Farm Project is working to Resolve Food Insecurity by creating a network of charity farms to grow food for those in need all year round. Their first farm will be at Loganlea State High School, produce grown at this site will be given freely to students in need, OzHarvest and more. Devon Pixies is hosting a fundraising afternoon mini high tea to get more farm beds sponsored. They are just over halfway there and the aim is to have all 66 beds sponsored before the end of the year. Agribusiness and Hospitality students will be getting involved in this project with the support of the teaching staff.

Mini Farms founder Nick Steiner will be here to share more about this amazing community project and he will have two produce boxes to give as lucky door prizes.

Your mini high tea includes a selection of dainty sandwiches, petit scones with jam and cream, and two mini sweet treats, plus your loose leaf tea or barista coffee.
