Day 1

Devon Pixies at Kingston Butter Factory – 7am 

Your journey starts at Logan’s newest cultural precinct, Kingston Butter Factory. Here, visitors can celebrate the City of Logan’s rich cultural heritage and diversity with the precinct hosting a range of events, festivals, and markets.  

For all you sweet enthusiasts and high tea lovers out there, this one’s for you. Located within Kingston Butter Factory is one of Logan’s hidden gems – Devon Pixies Teahouse. Start your day with a sweet bite to eat or why not treat yourself to a scrumptious high tea! Located in the old caretaker’s cottage, all items here are baked on-site using family recipes.

Adventure

Kingston Park Raceway – 10am

Now it’s time to strap yourself in (literally). Logan has even more for you to explore with Kingston Park Raceway allowing you to embrace your wild side. If being able to drive real race karts around an international racing circuit doesn’t get your adrenaline pumping, nothing will.  

Featuring three levels of Go Karts and three outdoor racetracks with schmick computerised timing, racers will be tested like real professionals.  

By the end of this experience, you will be representing Australia in the upcoming Formula 1 in no time with this voucher including a 1 on 1 training session for 4 people. 

But wait, there’s more! Kingston Park Raceway is also home to iPlay, offering all your favourite arcade games for the ultimate rush.  

Tip: Be sure to grab some snacks and refreshments from their Pit Stop Café to fuel you for the rest of the day.

Beenleigh Artisan Distillery – 2pm 

Now it’s time to head to the iconic Beenleigh Artisan Distillery. Your voucher here includes a Distillery Tour and Craft your Own Rum Experience.  

Take a journey through the oldest distillery in Australia and experience the robust fragrance of the molasses and the heady smells of fermentation during your tour. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to create your very own bottle of Beenleigh Rum with the guidance of their incredible team. What will you name your rum blend?  

The experience doesn’t stop there with each guest taking home a 200ml bottle of Rum.

Sugar Creek Smokehouse – 4pm  

With 2 hours to spare before your next stop, head to Distillery Road Markets for a pre-show bite to eat or maybe another drink at Sugar Creek Smokehouse. 

Their menu follows a ‘paddock to plate’ ideology, aiming to bring only the best ingredients in the region. From their burgers with a twist to their Spicy Slaw and loaded Filthy Fries, their menu offers a sensory dining experience with a signature profile flavour.

Spirits of Red Sand – 6pm to 9pm 

Embark on a compelling cultural journey where the vibrant spirit of Aboriginal Australia unfolds through generational storytelling at the Spirits of the Red Sand. This award-winning experience of authentic Aboriginal storytelling offers a cultural awakening that will reveal the history, beauty, complexity, and vibrancy of the Aboriginal people.  

To complete the journey, a hearty Australian char-grilled dinner, featuring tastings of traditional bush food, follows the show in the Tin Cup Café located in the historical Beenleigh Railway Station.

Day 2

Kiwanda Café – 7am

Start your morning with breakfast at Kiwanda Café. Located in Eagleby, Kiwanda Café is brought to you by the iconic Zarraffa’s Coffee at their multi-million-dollar roastery and headquarters. Their menu is full of breakfast favourites such as the iconic avo on toast, mouth-watering maple French toast and the complete package, their Big Breakfast! 

Coffee is necessary for the rest of the day, so make sure you grab a take-away for the journey!

Kiwanda Café is also located within the Distillery Road Market precinct which also houses Sugar Creek Smokehouse and Posadas Taqueria, but the fun doesn’t stop there. Distillery Road Market is soon inviting the region’s best street foodies, entertainers, growers, producers and markets to deliver regular markets.

Global Food Markets – 9am 

Explore the flavours of the world and take your taste buds on a foodie journey without leaving Logan.  

Head to the iconic Global Food Markets to experience a line of authentic street food vendors serving up mouth-watering dishes from South-East Asia, India, Africa, the Pacific Islands and the Middle East. The markets are surrounded by a diverse selection of grocery stores where you can pack your bag with a range of products such as fresh Afghan breads, exotic Indian spices and South-East Asian delicacies.  

This is the place where our cultural diversity comes to life.  

The Global Food Markets are held every Sunday and admission is free! 

Tip: While you are here, grab some sweet and savoury items for a picnic on our next stop.

Daisy Hill Conservation Park – 11am 

The best of the great outdoors awaits you in the City of Logan! Head to the Daisy Hill Conservation Park for a chance to reconnect with nature.  

The Daisy Hill Conservation Park provides visitors with a variety of trails where you can walk, mountain bike ride or horsehide through its lush eucalypt forest and vibrant landscape.  

Make sure you pack a picnic blanket and take a seat under one of the beautiful trees to finally indulge in those yummy treats you picked up from the Global Food Markets.  

Tip: While you are here, be sure to visit the Daisy Hill Koala Centre featuring a large outdoor koala enclosure and interactive displays where you can learn about our favourite Aussie icons. Admission is FREE!

Bayside Wake Park – 1pm 

After your Zen-time, head on over to Bayside Wake Park to get the adrenaline pumping! This hidden gem is a water sports park that allows visitors to wakeboard, wakeskate or kneeboard using an overhead cable that rotates around a lake.  

This voucher will provide you with an action packed and fun experience for first time visitors through to advanced riders.

Posadas Cantina – 5pm 

With the end of the ultimate weekend nearing, head back to where you started at Distillery Road Markets for a delicious bite to eat at the popular Posadas Cantina. This place will instantly catch your eye with its stylish lights and funky food truck welcoming you as you arrive, providing a unique dining experience. Discover authentic Mexican taqueria using fresh produce and a fiesta of flavours and enjoy a delicious beverage to end your ultimate weekend in Logan.
