Get Ready for Your 2026 Best of Queensland Experiences Assessment!

Deadline: 31 December 2025

The countdown is on! If you’re aiming to shine in the Best of Queensland Experiences Program (BOQEP) for 2026, now’s the time to check your review game. Remember: this years assessment criteria has changed, so please make sure you are across new requirements. Customer feedback plays a big role in your assessment, so make sure you’re collecting plenty of reviews across major platforms before the year ends.

How it works:

Every year, the Best of Queensland Experiences Program (BOQEP) reviews eligible tourism businesses with an active listing on the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW).

Assessments are based on a weighted scoring system totalling 100 points — and the best part? You don’t need to apply; if your listing is live, you’ll automatically be assessed.

To earn recognition as a Best of Queensland Experience, your business must score at least 80 points out of 100. Operators who achieve higher scores are celebrated at Silver and Gold levels, showcasing their exceptional quality and visitor experience.

Benefits

Operators who are recognised as a Best of Queensland Experience receive a range of benefits including:

  • TEQ will display the relevant stamp on the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) listings on Queensland.com
  • Consumer advocacy from delivering exceptional experiences and getting positive customer review
  • Inclusion in TEQ’s preferred operator database accessed by staff when planning marketing and activity
  • Priority in TEQ’s marketing and activity, including on Queensland.com
