Promoting your event

Get your event in front of more people!

Creating a great event is only half the job. Effective promotion helps ensure the right audience knows about your event and has time to plan their attendance.

To help maximise your reach, we've put together this guide featuring local, regional and industry opportunities to promote your event before it's launched.

Event Marketing & Promotion Tips

List Your Event on Explore Logan

Your first step should always be creating an event listing on Explore Logan.

Explore Logan is the city's official tourism and destination website, helping locals and visitors discover what's happening across Logan.

Through MyListing Logan, you can:

  • Create and manage your event listing
  • Update event details as needed
  • Upload images and promotional content
  • Reach audiences actively searching for things to do in Logan

Please note: all event listings are reviewed by the Explore Logan Tourism Team prior to publication. Submission does not guarantee approval.

List your event on ATDW

The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) is Australia's national tourism database and one of the most effective ways to increase the visibility of your event.

An ATDW listing can help distribute your event information across multiple tourism websites and visitor information channels, helping you reach local, interstate and national audiences.

Share your story with Our Logan

If your event has a strong community focus, unique story or significant visitor appeal, you may wish to share it with Logan City Council's community online magazine – Our Logan.

Our Logan highlights local stories, community news and events happening across the city.
