Chillogan Chilli Festival

Whether you are crazy for chillies or not, this is an event not to be missed.

Our venue for 2021 is the Village Green at the historic Logan Village Museum precinct, for two fun days – Saturday and Sunday 20 and 21 November, 2021.

Take a trip down Hellfire Alley to “try before you buy”, talk to the artisan chilli food producers, and learn a little more about the many different chilli varieties.  Talk to some expert chilli plant growers and horticulturists and take home a new plant of your own.

Enjoy some delicious food in our Food Court, featuring of course some super-spicy selections as well as your everyday favourites  for the not so brave.

For the kids, plenty to keep you occupied in this precinct.  Logan City Council has just upgraded the amazing playground and unlimited passouts will enable you to enjoy this facility as well as the festival.  There’s also our crowd favourites, the animal nursery and pony rides, as well as face-painting, and the fun jumping castles.

Check out the Chillogan Carve Up – a skate competition held at the skate bowl in the precinct.  Again, unlimited passouts will mean you can pop out and have a skate, or just watch the competitors vie for the trophy.

The crazy chilli challenges are everyone’s favourite to watch as competitors take on some seriously spicy foods to vie for trophy and cash prizes.

Of course we’ll again be offering some live music peppered in between the challenges.

We’ll have some great car, hotrod and bike displays by various clubs.

Bid on the Viking Breed Social Motorcycle Club’s pillion ride auction  and be a “Viking for a Day” as you zip out onto the highway for a 20 minute ride of your life.

Don’t forget we are supporting Radio Lollipop, our charity partner, which provides diversion and entertainment for kids who find themselves in hospital.  Look out for the red lollipops (and chilli pops) being given out on the day!
